Whisperers are still relevant today because they can create results that other practitioners can’t. I’ve spent 25 years doing this, solely using word of mouth referrals from clients to build a successful business. My ability to consistently help my clients achieve lasting, life changing results that most don’t even believe are possible is grounded in having a practical approach that’s able to get to the heart of my clients struggles, and then holding the work and ourselves accountable as we strive to navigate the core healing process.
In terms of results, I’ve helped people with severe struggles with panic attacks, compulsive disorders, the emotional consequences that come from sexual violation, as well as many other challenges, to overcome and resolve their struggles. Because accomplishing resolution usually demands a rigorous and long-term effort, some choose to not take their work this far. This decision is fully left to my clients, and is usually made as the process shows them what’s possible, and what it takes to create different levels of success with it.
Many of my new clients worry that this work won’t work for them, or that they won’t be able to do the work my approach demands. If you’re feeling drawn to the work but wary or hesitant, I suggest you think about trying things out for four months. This will give you a solid timeframe to test me, the work, and yourself out without feeling like you need to make a long-term commitment. This is usually enough time to start to experience the tangible impact that the work shares, and to get a solid feel for what the work is all about and what it needs from you.
If you have questions or concerns about the work, feel free to contact me so I can talk to you about them. If you want to know about my fee, click here. If you want to get started with the work, click here.
Testimonials
‘As a fairly traditionally trained psychologist, I was at first somewhat skeptical of placing my own mental health in the hands of a ‘non-traditional’ practitioner. However, as I worked with Doug, I found that he was able to quickly get an intuitive sense of who I was, what I was struggling with, and how I could best get myself ‘unstuck’. He balanced deep compassion and understanding of my struggles with a rather blunt and firm expectation of accountability and personal responsibility for doing the emotional work necessary to move forward. This was immensely helpful for me. I left my work with Doug much stronger and more emotionally complete than when I began, and at the end of the day, that is the mark of a successful therapy, traditional or not.’—Anonymous
